Geogebra has some other types of calculators completely free that I don't find useful and don't need but others might find them useful. But frankly, I don't think most of you would be needing it if you use Wolfram Alpha or Geogebra or the other apps I mentioned.

I like it more than P Calc, which is also paid and has almost everything you might need and even RPN. Technicalc Calculator- favourite paid calculator app that has most of scientific functions and constants. Also, I think the detection engine of Microsoft Math is probably better (anecdotal). Photomath and Mathway are also good, but their subscription system kinda pisses me and I feel like both are similar in functionality to Microsoft Math. Also you can use Apple Pencil to write down your equations if you want that. Microsoft Math Solver is what I generally use for written things' photo scanning and solutions. Also, you can buy the Wolfram Alpha app if you want to.Īnother one that's close to TI 84 calculator(those who like it) is Graphing Calculator X84 Frankly, this is a miraculous website if there ever was one. However, if you are in need of a graphing calculator, this hits the nail.Īnother way is to use Wolfram Alpha website by going to that website and adding it to your home screen so that you can do lots of different types of calculations and even ask questions and stuff. I used it a little less cause my muscle memory went into Desmos and I discovered GeoGebra after Desmos. This is also ad free and no purchase required.īut GeoGebra Graphing Calculator is also a good one. For a student, I find this Graphing Calculator almost perfect for his need. Numerical 2 might be liked by those who would want their calculator integration to the overall operating system and those that want external keyboard support.ĭesmos Graphing Calculator- now I am diving into niche use cases. But I still find Uno Calc to be the better pure calculator because of its launch speed and overall nice UI design. Numerical 2- another beautiful calculator.
#Best financial calculator app install
This is what you should install if you simply want a calculator. Tons of extra functionalities that the default iOS calculator lacks. Uno Calc- this may well be the default calculator. Hope this is helpful for someone who reads or sees it. When I first bought iPad I had a crappy calculator with ads and knowing no better, I suffered for years. Why am I writing this? So that if anyone ever buys an iPad and asks the question which calculator to use, this would hopefully work as a reference guide. Thank you for reporting spam and other rule-breaking content.
